Diary of a flying pig: Danish Tour 11/11

Back in Aalborg...
All of our performances done, we now have a couple more days to finish shopping, look around, and enjoy the city. I spent the morning at a tiny little school (52 students) west of town where Annette teaches. She has a class of 13-14-year-olds who are learning English, and Annette asked me to come and speak with them about America, and just so they could hear English spoken for an hour. They were great- a little shy, but had lots of good questions about everything from McDonalds to California to Tornados to the elections- a sampler plate of America, so to speak. Then it was back into J-A for the penultimate flight of the pig- my group of spectators having increased 400% (from 1 person to 4), and I now have a soundtrack, thanks to Oliver Steck! Afterwards, it was back home for me to begin packing the bajillion things I've purchased over here!
LESSONS FOR THE DAY
Expandable suitcases rock.
America really needs to get with the program and include tax on all of their prices.
Danish pigs say "grynt grynt"- no wonder I can't understand them!
2 Days 'til launch-
