Diary of a flying pig: Danish Tour 11/7

Our Final Performance in Aalborg!

A clear day before the show found most of us on the town, enjoying the crisp, cool weather. I headed first to the theatre for a repeat performance on Jomfru Ane's chain winch (final PIGformance- Friday!) adding some moves to my already impressive repertoire. Then I was off to the Viking graveyard on the other side of the fjord- a spectacular old village site that is also the home to over 200 graves (marked with circles of stones) and a flock of sheep. I was lucky enough to arrive around 5pm, and so had a chance to take advantage of the spectacularly long Scandinavian shadows...

Our final performance in Aalborg went great- one of our stronbest first acts to date, and the audience of high schoolers were remarkably engaged, attentive, and appreciative. After, we struck the set and loaded the truck in two hours, thanks largely in part to a reserve crew of strapping young men called in by Nils! We take off tomorrow for our final two performances!

LESSONS FOR THE DAY
Andrew loves Genesis, and don't you dare comment on it.
English women were very fond of the Vikings because they combed their hair and bathed once a week.

Those swans look just like the one that caused Tyler's younger brother, Alex, to wander off and disappear on our trip to DK years ago. If there names are Ethel and Fred, they are the same swans. Better check it out.
